ANOTHER PLACE BRINGS THE DIGITAL NATIVES’ ASPIRATIONS AND CHANGES ON ITS NEW COLLECTION

In its new collection, named “I FEEL LIKE LOVING YOU TODAY”, Another Place brings out the yearnings of the Generation Z and a picture of the transformation the internet proposes to its natives. It questions the aesthetic construction of these young people and how they behave on social networks and especially, how basic pieces and straightforward modeling can become “new items” before the proposed styling in a genuine and creative way for each person. Also, of course, how they record these moments in different situations.

In its second time at Casa de Criadores, the brand brought to the runway – whether by the stamping of its pieces, gadgets, smartphones and headphones – people’s need to record their daily lives through real-time content. As a teaser of the fashion show, Another Place created its own digital model, Adam, a character who illustrated the brand’s social networks during this period. Since its conception, the character questions the creation of a “digital life” and how other “online” characters become influential in the social networks today.

Following its DNA, “I FEEL LIKE LOVING YOU TODAY,” the gender neutral collection features a traditional black and white color chart – which is one of the brand’s characteristics – and also brings out items in yellow and silver. Asymmetry, pieces with modeling that is close to the body and pieces more voluptuous in the upper part propose a new urban uniform. The fabrics choice is also inspired by this new construction – jeans 100% cotton, Tech (Vicunha) and Cotton Recycle (Texprima). For the first time, the brand brings out graphic tees with prints specially developed to be photographed in “selfies” in the mirror.

The shoes worn in the runway are from a collab with Passarela . The show counted on Another Place’s supporters, such as Mac Cosmetics for beauty, Vicunha Textile and Texprima for fabrics, and YKK for sewing supplies.

The full collection is available for purchase on the brand’s e-commerce www.anotherplace.com.br.
